What does the savings calculator compute?
Depending on your selection, the savings calculator determines the final capital, initial capital, deposit, interest rate or accumulation period for a bank savings plan from the remaining inputs.
How is the interest applied?
Within each interest period, the calculator applies pro rata linear interest and blended interest for incomplete periods. Compound interest can be toggled on or off.
Can I include taxes in the calculation?
Yes, under Advanced Options you can enter a tax rate and the annual tax allowance. Tax and paid-out interest are shown separately in the result.
Are my inputs stored?
No, all calculations run exclusively in your browser. No data is transmitted or stored.
